Description: Original photo was submitted for possible use in the NACCCA calendar project by Vernon Schultz of Lewisville, MN. He states,.”…our job was to build a dam on the Cottonwood River at New Ulm, MN, to create a lake for recreation which also included a park with a summer kitchen and bath house. These buildings were made of native granite and all the stones were cut by hand with feathers, plus & star drills. We had no air compressors. I served from April 12, 1938 to January 15, 1941….Present day Flandrau State Park.
