Elementary Education Package

Developed to bring awareness to the CCC at the elementary school level this package contains background information for teachers and student activities.   Originally formatted to be used in conjunction with the establishment of CCC Members Appreciation Day in the State of Virginia, it can be used for any teaching opportunity.

March 31st is a memorable day in CCC history

As part of Virginia's  March 31 CCC Members Appreciation Day an educational package has been developed to assist educators and parents in teaching the CCC to youngsters.

The Camp Roosevelt CCC Legacy Foundation was proud to request March 31 as a special day of recognition in the State of Virginia.  The Virginia CCC Members Appreciation Day emphasizes the importance of the men and projects of the CCC who added so much to our natural resources and culture.  Virginia can now join other states across America who annually celebrate and appreciate the men and work of the CCC.

For more on Virginia's CCC Day go to projects.
