Chapter #102 Picnic - Giant City State Park

Giant City State Park, IL is a popular CCC location in Southern Illinois and the lodge demonstrates the quality and craftsmanship that has built the reputation of the fine quality of CCC work. 

Each year Chapter #102 meets at the park for their annual picnic and gathering.   There were approximately 50 people in attendance.   Joe Stritzel and his wife Fern have been long and faithful volunteers to the CCC community in Southern Illinois.  

Joe is president of Chapter 102 and continues to guide members so they can continue to meet and enjoy the company.  The picnic is always held the second Saturday in June at the park.
